Abstract:

This overview briefly deals with the quality of the health data in the DHS I surveys. Sections include an outline of the materials and methods used in assessing the quality of the health data and some of the most important findings for each of the health-related topics. Where applicable, the sections end with a summary of the changes made in the DHS II core questionnaire.
