Abstract:

Preference for fewer children provides the motivation to practice contraception and is the key factor in the decline of fertility in the Philippines. This further analysis report seeks to describe the characteristics of women who want no more than two children and to develop a profile of women at the leading edge of the fertility transition in the Philippines.
