Abstract: The article analyzes the utilization of maternal and child health care services associated with women's autonomy. It informs that the low status of women in the Indian society indicates that health seeking behaviour of women depends on the decision of their partner. It mentions that women's autonomy and its relation to reproductive behaviour is a concern for the country as it reduces maternal mortality and improves child health.
