| Abstract: |
The purpose of this study is to add to the knowledge of contraceptive-use dynamics by documenting probabilities of method switching in a large number of countries, using the most recent DHS calendar data. In addition, it examines disparities or inequalities in switching among different groups within countries and specifically compares the switching behavior between better- and less-educated women, between wealthy urban couples and poor rural couples, and between women who are motivated by spacing and by family-size limitation |
