The Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) Program collects high quality, nationally representative data on gender. Between 1994 and 2014, The DHS Program published a series of three analytical reports on women's lives and experiences around the world.

The third report, Women's Lives and Challenges: Equality and Empowerment since 2000, is summarized in the video below.
