The objective of this report is to examine the patterns in knowledge and use of modern methods of contraception in Guinea since 1990, as well as changes in the age of first marriage, a proximate determinant of fertility. We will explore the findings related to these issues in three sections. We begin with a presentation of data examined and the statistical methods used in the analyses, followed by the findings obtained. The final section will discuss the implications of the analyses.
